My instructions were for an older vehicle in car head (2015 CRV in dash Pandora head app) but your problem sounds totally different. I am also experiencing similar symptoms now as you describe. I think Pandora is changing their broadcast format data. I have learned that switching my vehicle to bluetooth and wait a few seconds for the data stream to populate the song title info and then switch back to Pandora link then all is well for me.
