I am so sorry to read this - I am also a widow. What helped me was making a few playlists of songs - mix of ones he would listen to, ones we would listen to together... And I balled my eyes out. Or danced it out. Sometimes both. Find a tranquil place to listen to it and get some great headphones. Music can be so healing. Once I was over the brunt of it, I started needing music that I never associated with him to give myself a break. Almost 2 years later, I balance the two (more so music where I don't think of him, but that's just my path). Best of luck and lots of love 💕
