I've sent so many emails between now and then, including emails outside of Pandora, that I don't remember exactly what I said about Marilyn Manson and possibly Rose McGowan. I'm certain it was something snide and sarcastic and hateful. I've gotten so much better at that, these days. Basically, his stage persona is shock value. I've watched several interviews and do find him to make intelligent comments. He can be insensitive to people outside of his own thinking and my local Aunt Molly club HATES him (always a compliment as far as I'm concerned). I wouldn't want to look like that but he's the one with a successful career and I mooch off of a disability check. So, who am I to say, really? I've got to argue with the psychiatrists over remembering my own name. Especially, when I remember my name. So, like, as if, and stuff. Who's going to take me seriously?

I can't cite it but Arjuna stomps the **ahem** out of his family and Krishna stops time to encourage him and keep him from changing his mind. Unless you want the child friendly interpretation: Don't allow anything, not even your family, separate you from Divine Being. I would've been impressed with you if you had never sent me an obnoxious email, at all. Hinting around that if God isn't on my side, I'll answer to my **ahem** for brains family, whether I want to or not? Taking time to respond, aside, do you want to turn Rainbow Bright into a religion? That might be something you can peddle.

I didn't ask for snide comments in response to Pandora's request that I post my comment about blocking artists. Wow, that turned into the, "I don't care fest" everyone was expecting from all sides of the fence. Hey, three separate Biblical remarks from three separate Biblical Religions (the Torah included) and I wonder how many people had to Google search that obscurity. It's only obscure for people who don't need to know. If you don't need to know, why bother?

Thanks for the help. I was talking about myself. I let Pandora go because I needed to focus financially on other things. And, sometimes, it just seems like good advice. Wow, if that's what your life has been like, how do you avoid the lobotomies? I finally flushed enough fecal poisons down the toilet my memory skills have improved. But, you know what they say, you never get it all back. I imagine with the recovery from the virus being such a mess, they'll legalized euthanasia in a few years. I can't wait. Put me on the list. Doesn't that sound like better help? Dr. Kavorkian was ahead of his time. Until then, I know how to avoid social workers. At least one meal a day and knowing more about the law than they do. I have a terrible singing voice but sometimes it's a little in tune. What were you saying about the help I need? It's all such a common occurrence, isn't it?

You do have to thumbs down A LOT of songs you don't like before Pandora will play something similar, yet distastefully different enough a better thumb decision can be made, whether it works out happy, or not. I'm sorry for you that you don't like Willie Nelson's music. As, if. I've known a lot of people who are just jealous because he wears a head band that still fits at his age. Most people I know who don't like the Eagles think it's too educational. If teenagers make more informed decisions, there won't be as much unwanted pregnancy. So, they never play the Eagles at church sermons. Definitely, definitely, too much responsible sex-ed for the social workers who fellowship with the Preachers and their Christmas wish lists.

Well, the possibilities are more unlimited with Amazon because they do have a bigger selection. But I'm sure Pandora has a very nice, "Grateful Dead" collection. Pandora certainly played Black Sabbath just fine. The 5th Dimension was no problem, either. Good luck at Amazon.

The playlist is different from the radio selections and the Pandora search engine is unpredictable. So, there's still the risk of unwanted contact with disgust. I don't have any sympathy for people who receive ss I and can't afford socks or a Pandora subscription. Lance that in the boil and tell them to sign up for free financial management online and then maybe they can afford the soundtrack to "Cool World" and "The Wizard of Oz" while they learn to use a sippy cup at the psyche ward.

I've never had that problem with Pandora. I just select the artists and the songs I'm looking for and add them to my lists. I've never had to thumb through a gazillion songs before I found the right one. So I just don't know how to empathize with your problem. Try contacting Pandora's customer service and maybe they can help. If the PTSD is getting to you, maybe you should apply for ss I. There's a strong likelihood that between the meds and the EST you might not ever need to remember you had a Pandora account.

I don't really care how much money the artists make. Between the drug bingers and the alcoholic black outs, most of those artists stay pretty bankrupt. Some of the artists invest in a good stock portfolio. A lot of the rock and rollers from the 90's sold insurance after their career was over. It's better than sleeping in the park. What do people use for blankets these days? Newspapers are like, so 2010 and out of style. So, I won't complain if I accidentally listen to Rush Limbaugh and before I finish barfing from disgust, an artist like that has enough money to buy a potato sack blanket.

I doubt the Pandora train will derail completely. Enough complaints and maybe they'll add the feature. It's possible they might update the app and use the suggestion box. Then, I'll never worry about accidentally listening to Rush Limbaugh by mistake. Barf-O-Rama.

I've had that same emotional reaction. It seems like everything is going wrong. Then top it all off with music that is like finger nails down a chalk board and you can't get the music muted. It feels like the world is against you and even the random selection on the radio station is out to get you. My suggestion is some deep breathing exercises combined with therapeutic relaxation techniques and calmly walk yourself through the steps of blocking the artist, if you can. Of coarse, my original complaint was not being able to block an individual artist. Thumbs down on the radio random selection is as close as it gets. I have noticed if you thumbs down the song, then skip the song entirely, the random selection will eventually offer you different songs from the same genre. A thumbs up and the random selection will offer more music similar to the songs you like. Be patient and keep making the same thumbs up, thumbs down and skip selections and eventually, you'll listen to less and less music that grates your last nerves.

Well, you can always block the entire artist. You wouldn't want the children to be negatively influenced by the basic over all general opinion. Their innocence is so short lived. Let them keep it for as long as they just don't know any better. That's why I'm so glad I never had children and I don't babysit. I only have myself to think about when considering censuring artists. I can listen undisturbed and I am my only responsibility.

There are definitely a lot of good reasons to complain about the politics that define the goods and services we use. A few pennies is the difference between a private playlist and the corporate scheduled line-up. As far as City Hall is concerned, if you know the rules well enough and you've got a legitimate reason to complain, keep filling that paperwork, give it enough time and the red tape will clear itself out, eventually. Sometimes, when there's nothing for the complaints process to solve, posting you opinion and venting your frustrations just makes you feel better about things. Free radio places you subject to someone else's listening decisions but a lot of people say it's better than nothing.

You can always download and collect music you know you like and make your own playlist. Then you'll always know you're listening to music you enjoy and you'll never be forced to hear noises that upset your individual personhood.

All of those concerns sound so frustrating. Being subjected to unwanted art media is so irritating, isn't it? Good luck finding reasonable solutions.

I listen to some explicit music. Most of the cover art doesn't offend me. A search brought up an artist with graphic and disturbing cover art of women who had been badly beaten. One woman had bruised eyes. The other two had bloody teeth. The pictures were very realistic. I want to block that artist from my account. The explicit music I listen to doesn't portray that kind of violence. The block option is for ALL explicit music. I'd like the option to block individual artists from my account. That would give me the option to continue enjoying the music I love without exposing myself to those disturbing images.
