I have a S23, and I  had the same problem,  but now it's stopped.  I went to pandora in my app settings,  and opened  notifications, Set notifications on silent. This automatically shuts off pop ups.  And when I go the lock screen,  to use the phone,  if I see that pandora is ready to launch, I switch that off that screen. It's going on a month now. Don't know if you saw my recent post. I too have a S23. Had the same problem,  but it all stopped when I went into app settings to pandora,  went to notifications and turn alerts to silent.  This automatically turns off pop ups. I also, on the screen lock, if I see pandora music on pause, ready to play, I swipe that off the screen.  Haven't had a problem sence. Try that, and good luck. ... View more

After I went into settings and brought up the pandora app., and in notifications,  switch it to silent, my phone stopped playing in on its own in the middle of the night. I also make sure, on the lock screen, if there is a pandora song, waiting on hold, I swipe that off the screen. So far, so good. When you put notification on silent, it removes the pop ups. Hello, Try, in the app, go to allow notifications.  I don't allow pop ups, then I switch it to silent on alerts.  But at night, I turn off the "allow notifications " untill morning.   Also, I've noticed that when you listen to pandora,  and what ever is the last song you were listening too, stays ready to restart,  supposedly at your command. When I turn my screen off, (goes black), then go to use the phone,  I see, above where you use the password/pattern/fingerprint,  what ever you use, the last song is there, ready to play.  I make sure I swipe that to the side, getting off my screen,  and so far, I haven't had a problem sence I made my post.  I know it sounds like a hassle,  but until they figure this out, that's what I'm doing.  And it's really easy after you do it a couple times.  I hope this helps you, let me know if it does I also keep my volume at a minimum,  just in case.  In app settings, in the "allow notifications: section, I never allow pop-ups. You can turn that off, and I always have it set on silent for notifications.  But at night, I turn off the "allow notifications ", untill morning.  On my S23, when I go to use my phone, the screen that first appears for your password to get in, the last song I was playing on pandora is there, ready to play. I swipe that to the side, getting ride of it. So far, sence my original post, I haven't had a problem. But, Every time I would open pandora,  I found that the last thing I was listening to, goes back on the password screen. Even if you don't play it. So when I turn off my screen,  I'll ck it to see if that song is ready to launch on my password screen,  and get rid of it. Hope this helps. Just incase, at night. If I delete and reinstall the app on my s23 android,  will I loose my Playlist.  If the randomly middle of the night playing needs to stop, or I will end my subscription.  I drive for a living and need my sleep.  Hate to end pandora,  but I will if you guys can't fix this ... View more
