(I replied to the email that Pandora sent me with this information, but I wanted to put it here as well, in case it helps) Hello, I appreciate your advice. However, I am well aware of how Pandora is SUPPOSED to work. I sometimes find that, in spite of MANY thumbs up on specific stations, it tends to play the same small handful, but I am exploring ways to make that work. My issue is that the thumbprint radio is playing now HUNDREDS of songs that are clearly inspired by a single station with only ever a single song interruption from a second station. I have several stations with distinct music as their basis. There is no chance it is playing from multiple stations only I am confusing them for just one. Part of why this has been so annoying to me is that the station the thumbprint station is drawing from is the one station that I do NOT want played on that station. I use that station for work and it is very different than music I want to listen to in other contexts. I have not thumbs downed any music from other stations (other than ones I genuinely did not want to listen to). I have now thumbsed down more than 500 tracks from this one station that I do not want to have come up. Most of those have come from the last week when I have tacked this issue more aggressively. Can you either find out what the glitch is on your end or give me instruction (beyond normal Pandora operation) that I can do on my end to clear up the glitch. It is clearly a glitch because this is neither how Pandora is meant to perform (based on other information and your response), nor how it HAS performed in the past. In other words, your response is not, in fact, helpful (though I am sure it was a reasonable first response), and I need a deeper response or different action.
