I too have a similar issue. I subscribe to Pandora Plus and only listen on 2 different devices, my living room TV thru a Firestick, and my personal PC in my home office. I just had the error message pop up and the TV in my living room is not even powered on. In my case, I chose the "Thumbs Up" playlist and after a few songs I was notified that my trial premium subscription had expired. That seems to be an entirely different issue as well. When I tried to start the playlist again I then received the message that someone else was already listening. I have no idea who that could be since I am the only one on my account. Further, the Thumbs Up playlist is not even available from my living room anymore. I have logged out of the acct on ALL (both) my devices and logged back in but no fix. I just want this to work! It used to work perfectly until recently.. sigh, this is frustrating.
