Ads or Notifications appearing in Playline on Pand...

What gives? While listening to my stations, I get interrupted by what sounds like an Ad for Lindsay Stirling announcing a new album. I checked, and sure enough, there is a spot in my playlist where it played this ad. My genre is musical compositions for Movies - how does that make anyone or anything think I am interested in an artist whose love for classical music with electronic dance and hip-hop would even have the slightest interest to me. Thumbed Songs Are No Longer Thumbed

About three weeks ago, i noticed that Pandora is playing most of the songs that I had previously marked with Thumbs Up, but they are not being indicated as Thumb Up. I don't understand. I have more than 1300 selections marked Thumb Up, but about two-thirds of the music playing is not indicating my previous Thumb Up indication. Even more agravating is the fact that if I now mark something Thumb DOWN, the Now Playing list will not retain the thumb down - it just skips to the next song, so I don't know if Pandora is still tracking my favorites and rejects.   Moderator Edit: Changed title for clarity ...
