Wow... so it seems the issue might actually be the worst UI I have ever seen, and that's in a 25 year tech career. 1. When in edit mode, the password field is still a single field and contains grayed out dots. This indicates visually it can not be edited. This must be fixed. 2. When you click in that field nothing happens, it's still grayed out dots. See point 1. 3. If you start typing in the field that by all appearances is disabled, you CAN type in it. See point 1. 4. There is no confirmation field to ensure you didn't make a typo. There is no button to show the field contents instead of dots. This must all be fixed. 5. There is no requirement to enter your existing password to change your password. This does not meet modern security practices. It's as if the people coding this UI have never used another account system in their life and have no clue how such an interface is supposed to be designed and have no concept of ensuring an error free experience to users. And after 5 years of feedback indicating this is a problem because countless people say they can't change their password, no one has figured out the actual issue is the worst account management UI in the history of the internet or done a thing about it. But you can immediately moderate my posts huh? Great priorities.
