This happens even when I’m simply listening to music and not using any other app. The music will only continue playing if the app is open. I am now having the exact same issue and I’ve been using Pandora for many years. Music no longer plays in the background. Unless the app is open, the music stops playing. It seems this has been an issue for six years now, there must be some fix for this.
