Don't hold your breath my friend: https://community.pandora.com/t5/Community-Chat/Utterly-Stagnant-Development-Why/m-p/107251/highlight/true#M14463 None of the big, old requests are getting any response.

Am I smoking something, or has Pandora just completely stopped listening to its users- as if it ever did... In the Feature Requests Forum sorted by Most Requested it lists 18+ pages, at 20 requests/page, so that's 360+ requests. Since September of 2019. 17 have been acted on. (We did get the fancy new logo with the red Splash on the P. Was a Dev murdered?)
In the first page of 20, there are over 5,600 votes. One request has been completed, that had 240-some votes, that's still over 5,360 votes for 19 requests that are all from before the US entered lockdown. What. The. Heck. is going on here? I love what the Music Genome does (or rather, did) but the music selection seems to be shrinking, and the developers don't seem to give a flying squirrel's tail about Users. Sp0t!fy's Radio isn't as good, but I think I'm about done supporting a dying platform. So long, and thanks for all the fish!

@AdamPandora Seriously, this feature request has been languishing for years, and it's a very basic feature (especially gapless) that is available on every other streaming service I've used. Are we getting a preview of the death of Pandora? It does sort of seem like more and more songs I've thumbed on my stations are unavailable or Radio Only... It's a real shame to see the wonderful strides and effort of the Music Genome project languishing because Pandora isn't keeping up with the market. The algorithm is second to none, but I'm about fed up enough to deal with Spotify Stations instead of continuing to support a service that ignores it's user base. Can you at least let us know why in hell this still has no forward motion?

I'd like to know why on EARTH the top 15 new feature requests have been languishing since the second half of 2019, and there's no information on if/when they are being/will be worked on or solved or whatever. Is there any timeline for when we can hope that this'll be completed?

@AdamPandora shouldn't this issue be long-dead and rectified by now? I know about 5 different suggestions have been merged in over the years... From an outside viewpoint it seems as though there's no effort or priority being put towards this significant years-old deficiency. Is there a reason there's no visible traction or info coming re: release timeline or roadblocks? Is there something in the radio playback model that's preventing this? Is this just never going to happen, but the ticket's open so we can keep hoping? Thanks

@romanhrth I hear you, with Spotify's new radio app I'm at the end of my patience here. The deaf people at the wheel here don't seem to care about their user's experience much. As soon as my long-term-paid account time is up, it won't be renewed, that's for sure. I'd even rather listen to ad's than these bloody silences, as at least the ads serve a purpose, while these silences are just a result of lazy programming.

Seriously, I'd like to clarify, do y'all mean: true Crossfade (where you can hear both songs at once) or Gapless (where song B starts EXACTLY when song A ends, Spotify erroneously puts this feature as Crossfade On, 0 seconds) There are a number of other threads that point to this question under Gapless, and I'd like to know if they're the same request, or slightly different Thanks for your input and for putting your voice to this in the first place!

Do you want to Crossfade? Or just have Gapless audio? Should this be merged with the Gapless option here https://community.pandora.com/t5/Feature-Requests/gapless-audio-please/idi-p/5427 ? 'crossfade' cleanly requires some real back-end shenanigans, beat-matching and such, doesn't it? It's more of a DJ-style function than Gapless, which is just a Playback function. For example, if you were listening to the Beatles, you wouldn't want "Polythene Pam" and "Mean Mr Mustard" to crossfade into each other, because they're sequentially mixed on Abbey Road.

This is very jarring; I just dropped Spotify paid and moved back to Pandora because I was missing the organic 'station' mode which Spotify is particularly <err....> at doing. However, I went with Premium primarily to replace the Spotify ability to listen to albums as a whole, but many are mixed to be a continuous experience. It's EXTREMELY unpleasant that Pandora breaks this experience, and disappointing that it's not even a disabled option- even in the Premium grade service. I'm just an enthusiast, not an Audiophile, so I don't have equipment capable of highlighting the 'low' bitrate available, but this feature (and Spotify's larger catalogue) are the only things I can think of that EVERYBODY that pulls up an album can point to and say 'that's not how the artist meant this to be heard'... Any update on progress here?
