This happens with my pixel phone as well. I have everything turned off for auto launch but every time I get in my car it will run in the background. I will then have to go force stop it. There are times I don't know it is running in the background until hours later and wondering why my battery is draining faster than normal. That's when I have to force stop it. It so freaking frustrating. Only way I have stopped it is logging out of Pandora every time I use it which is absolutely ridiculous.
