Well here we are, 1.5 years since the last post and five years since the first post, and this still doesn't work right. I have a Pandora station called "Smooth Jazz Christmas Radio" and it will play exactly as requested on any Alexa device, but when I ask Siri on a HomePod Mini, it creates and plays "Smooth Jazz Christmas Performers (Holiday) Radio". Thankfully, the content is similar and I can let it go. I can remove this newly created station from Pandora as many times as I want, but it will recreate and play it every time. And it's not just with holiday music; many of my previously created stations won't play, either, as Siri (or something in Apple) creates some insanely unrelated station, always of a name that sounds vaguely similar to the Pandora station that I requested, but totally different musical content. But Alexa gets it right every time. It's hard for me to believe that the Amazon ecosystem is working so much better than Apple, because Amazon software has been more flaky for years, but that's the sad truth. Siri on HomePod hears me better, but ignores what I say. Frankly, I don't believe for an instant that any of the rumored improvements to Siri with Apple Intelligence are going to make a difference.
