I do not mind listening to ads, however when I am studying and listening to Classics Study Music Radio Ads tend to blare out and hurts my ears. I study in a communal area and most of us tend to wear ear buds. I did clear the cache, but have not un/reinstalled the app.  I will keep an eye on it and see if it happens again.  I don't think it has since I cleared the cache, but it is somewhat infrequent anyway, which makes it hard to remember for sure and pin down.
