I'm about to follow suit with those who have solved this issue by switching to Spotify. And I'm not talking about the crossfade feature request, I'm talking about the issue of there being a gap of silence between tracks when listening to an album. Fixing that is not a feature request, it's a glaring deficiency that needs to be fixed. Is there any progress to report? Any hope at all of it getting fixed some time yet this decade?

There are 12 different artist pages titled "Soen" or "SoEn". 6 of them have the same profile photo, and many have the same description about the band. The one that's mostly correct with regard to having all the major releases by the Swedish prog rock group has 3 recent hip-hop singles in it with Cyrillic letters in the titles that clearly don't belong there.

@TacoTodd - in the mobile app you have to SWIPE - touch, hold, and drag the song to the left to reveal the delete button. You're tapping on the ellipse menu, and the delete option isn't in that menu. And you have to be in the Playlist view, not the Now Playing view - they'll both be a list of the songs in the playlist, but you have to be in the playlist itself to edit it.

@TannerPandora, the Idea you linked is a post that combines (conflates) gapless transitions and a crossfade feature request. While the latter is a feature that I couldn't care less about, the former is what I'd consider a flaw in the product that needs to be fixed, regardless of how many votes that "idea" post gets. I, like the OP here, find the gap extremely irritating when listening to albums as a whole.

When choosing an album to listen to on my walk, I would like to see the total album duration. Displaying individual song durations when viewing an album (without having to click into each song) would be nice as well. (Android mobile app user)

I feel that cross fade is a feature request, while gapless song transitions is something that just has to be true. I could not care less about the former, but the latter is a real annoying issue that just needs to be fixed pronto.

I discovered in the Android app if you add an entire album to a playlist and create a new playlist as part of that operation, the songs go in all mixed up out of order. Only by adding the album to an existing playlist will they go in in the right order. The attached screenshots show an album going into a new playlist out of order.
1 - the album 2 - add it to playlist 3 - new playlist 4 - songs out of order in playlist

There's at least two, maybe more, artists going by the name "Via", and this artist page is a mixed bag. The following albums are of one artist, and that artist seems to be in the minority there: After You Drown Sanitize This They could both be moved to this Via , where their other album The Day Of Purification resides. There's a lot going on in that first artist page I linked, and I'm not certain the two moves I suggested are the whole story, or necessarily the correct solution.

The swipe function is from the playlist view - you drag the song to the left revealing a delete button at the right. Or follow Alyssa's directions for editing the playlist.

At the very least, when you click the option to "Go to playlist" it should take you to where that song is on the playlist.

There's a new song called "-WANTED-" by "Clutch" listed under Clutch, but they are not the 'real' Clutch. I had previously reported a bunch of other not-Clutch songs that were listed under Clutch, but then that other-Clutch releases a new song and bam, right under Clutch it goes. There's a new song called "THIS FILE NO LONGER EXISTS" by "Dead South" listed under The Dead South, but they are not the 'real' The Dead South. Y'all really need to have a system for verifying metadata on these rando new songs by no-name artists that use the same name as well-known artists. Also, y'all should really have a feature to report metadata issues in-app.

The only version of the album 13 Ways to Bleed On Stage by Cold currently available on Pandora is a terribly edited "Clean" version - it's unlistenable. I would appreciate the unedited "Explicit" version of this album. It's one of my favorites.

4th time trying to post this reply - it keeps disappearing... trying a different browser: 1. Lenovo Thinkpad X12 2. Mode... of the application? The X12 is a tablet which I'm using on a dock as a 'desktop' PC. The Pandora app is the desktop version from the Microsoft Store, used in its... default mode? 3. Wi-Fi (blazing fast fiber internet w/ rock solid service) 4. 15.0.3 (recently un/reinstalled) 5. Windows 10 Pro, v. 22H2, OS build 19045.4046 6. No error messages, the song just spontaneously restarts, as if I had pressed the 'track back' button myself. The issue does seem to be confined to just very long tracks. 7. Yes - I listened to a playlist of long (8-12 minute) songs yesterday using MS Edge, and it played fine. Today I tried the desktop app again, and about half way into the 2nd long song, that song restarted when it reached somewhere around the 5-minute mark.

The Snot artist page contains releases by two different artists: (1) the original "Snot", a punk-esque Nu Metal sort of band from California that effectively disbanded in 1998 (despite a couple 'reunions', they never released any more music); and (2) some electronic/metal group called "S.N.O.T.", with mostly non-english song titles, starting with the release Deepspace Christ in 2023.

I did each of those (Windows) to no avail - the Desktop app still spontaneously restarted songs after trying each of those (resetting the app, then un/reinstalling). Could be coincidental, but it might only be happening on long tracks. e.g. I just watched it happen on The Background World by NIN (11:44) - the track restarted around the half-way mark.
