Same problem.  I took my phone of my charger (100% charge) and 2h 40 minutes later my battery is at 50% on my Pixel 10 Pro (I was connected to Wifi at home the entire time).  Pandora used 64% of that according to the battery usage screen in settings, and that was all background usage because I didn't use the app at all.  I had to revoke the permission to run in the background but then Pandora loses the ability to stream music in my car if my phone screen turns off.  Uninstalling this and moving to Spotify since you clearly can't prioritize resolving this issue after knowing about it for 1 year.  This type of battery consumption in the background is absolutely unnecessary. ...
