Hello all, @AlmondolphinThank you for saying what needed to be said. This is exactly the reason we all came to Pandora in the first place. We as users want to expand our horizons and, at least for me, I want to experience more music similar to what I already know that I like. I want an educated guess, not just suggestions from the same genre. @TannerPandoraI hope that you're able to bring this to the people who sign the purchase orders and have the highest salaries. This is the best advice that anyone in a position of authority at pandora could receive. @NamelessExecutiveBigwig; I can empathize that remaining profitable for the end of continued existence is difficult in the face of unending corporate greed. We may not all have faith that pandora will be what we all wanted, but the original post points out why we all came here and this is the only thing that sets pandora apart from the other streaming services. If the Music Genome Project is not iterated upon then you will have missed the best opportunity that has ever existed in the entire history of the music industry. Regarding how; while you might not have the rights to some music, consider linking to a competitor as a form of advertisement and work out a proper deal for price. It is worth the loss of a listen because we will keep coming back here. The suggestions from the Music Genome Project are worth FAR more than anything google has ever suggested and should be priced accordingly. We are music fans, have you ever seen merchandise prices at a concert? We will pay for what we want. The Music Genome Project is what we want.
