I am surprised to find that in October 2021, this is still an issue.  I use Pandora with my Alexa all the time, but it's been quite some time since I looked at the list in my "collection."  Clearly, still a problem, as I have 85 "collections." I would propose a modification of the request to separate "collections" from "stations."  "Stations" would be what I create myself.  "Collections" would be suggestions by Pandora based on what I've listened to.  For example, let's say I create a station based on the music of Stephane Grapelli, which is jazz, but at some point also ask for a song by Coldplay.  Pandora might create a "collection" of music like Coldplay, which would be suggested, or might follow in play after a Coldplay song.  But when I ask for my station, I get my station.  I get that Pandora is interested in maintaining my engagement, especially to generate ad revenue, but the Pandora/Alexa combo shouldn't result in my polluted stations.   ...
