I eventually gave up and had to move my TV Pandora listening to Roku, which doesn't have the skipping problem but is also a pain to have to switch over to. Also, the Pandora app on Roku isn't as versatile as the Xfinity version of Pandora. At this point I'm considering just dropping Xfinity TV altogether and using Roku.
