My name is Chris and I am one of the Moderators and a Lead Support Specialist on the AMP team 🙂

David Byrne is an artist who truly inspires me. I was fortunate enough to see him perform a few years ago and marveled at how he was able to reimagine songs I’ve heard a million times to sound fresh & exciting with new live arrangements.

The AMP tool I think is special is Artist Audio Messages. It is such a unique way to connect with your audience that can only be found on Pandora.

Hi, I’m Andrew Shapiro, a composer and pianist living in Brooklyn.

I’m classically trained and I’d say that for lots of my piano music (at least) I’m influenced by a fusion of the Cocteau Twins and Philip Glass.

I’m quite new and I can’t yet speak to a favorite AMP tool.

@FloydA, it's hard to believe that this is your 1st album! It has such a fully-formed and ethereal sound to it which intersects comfortably between Country and Folk. Reminds of Chris Isaak or Fleet Foxes. Great work!

@jgwopfrigid, love your flow and how you can bounce from genre to genre with your beats. Your album "The 5th Element" goes hard! 

@andrewshapiro, thanks for sharing your music with us. It is so peaceful and grounding. As much as I love to hyped up with music, I also marvel at the ways it can calm me down.

My name is James Filkins. I am a guitarist, composer of acoustic guitar instrumentals, and recording artist. I create organic acoustic instrumentals that are ambient, new age, a bit Celtic, acoustically melodic, and infused with vibrant, resonant, moody atmospheres and sonic textures. I am just getting back into the music game after a ten-year hiatus. I just released a new album and began streaming singles through Raighes Factory label.

I haven’t really explored the Amp tools yet, and I am pretty inexperienced on Social Media so I am hoping to learn a bunch here.

Hey all, my name is Lora but I'm representing Elzie B Hickerson [Pandora Artist Page] across all of his social channels and marketing efforts.  He's a Red Dirt artist from Eastern Oklahoma with a sound that's a little Charlie Robison with a smattering of James Taylor's acoustic vibe, a little Pat Green (before he sold out to Nashville) with the lyricism of Bob Dylan, and a bit of Willie Nelson if he hung out with Jimmy Buffett back in the 60s.

Personally, back in the day, I used to play seven different instruments and dreamed of making it big one day.  I'm just now picking the guitar back up after a twenty-year hiatus.

We are just now really getting to experiment with the AMP tools, but I find even without them Pandora's algorithm seems to have decoded the best place to serve Elzie's music compared to the rest of the DSPs so we have turned our attention more to Pandora than some of the others.  I really wish they shared a bit more data with the artist, but I'm hopeful now that the issues with the AMP stats has been fixed that some of the black hole feeling will stabilize!

Inspirations -- the old Windham Hill artists Alex de Grassi and George Winston; for a few years I lived near Alex and traded him dog-sitting and house-sitting for feedback on my music, which was brilliant!

My favourite AMP tool -- tracking plays (At the current rate, I'll top 1 million Pandora spins early next year -- astonishing!)

I picked tracking as a fav tool as I don't know any of the others. Suggestions welcome, and I look forward to connecting with you all!
