My name is Chris and I am one of the Moderators and a Lead Support Specialist on the AMP team 🙂

David Byrne is an artist who truly inspires me. I was fortunate enough to see him perform a few years ago and marveled at how he was able to reimagine songs I’ve heard a million times to sound fresh & exciting with new live arrangements.

The AMP tool I think is special is Artist Audio Messages. It is such a unique way to connect with your audience that can only be found on Pandora.

Hello, all. Great to be here. I was asked a good question today, about who my music is primarily for... I'm a producer of "vibe" music, which is intended to be songs that focus primarily on the "feeling" you get from the music; rather than a singer relaying how they feel. The groove is the FOCUS. I produce music and do my own video production. Vacation or "stay-cation" venues are the scenes my music is the background for. When you need to get in that "chill space" because of life's stresses and situations, or fighting to improve your outlook on a situation... Going through a "thang", or trying get at that certain someone... Or maybe just sitting in your chill spot, taking a few breaths and focusing. That's when the value of the Vibe kicks in. Start your day with good, positive vibes. Study or invest a little time into a good hot bath/shower. I got you. My inspiration comes from many genres of music, as I get carried away by the artistry of well crafted music.

Inspiration : While it is hard to choose one, that would go to Frederick Noad, a Master of the Guitar, and whose book I still work out of.

I am so new to Amp that I don't even know what the tools are, so I am interested to learn.

Hello Chris, how you doing ? I go by D Mystro M. I just released 2 new singles recently and hope to get some radio play. I have been creating music for many years and man how things have changed. Both new songs are radio friendly and very dance-able. one is a country 2 step and really funny so if you need a good laugh check it out. I also like to know how i can get the credits and other information corrected. I thought my distributor would take of that after I sent them all the info but so far No go? Thank you for your encouragement! I wish to share chill vibes with
everyone. I use Funk, Country, Folk, Soul, Hip-hop elements... Something
you can "feel" when you hear it, and find your zone. Great music exists in
many genres, and it binds us all on a spiritual level, if you open yourself
to it. I have 2 selections for anyone who just needs to check out of their
stress for awhile and unwind. Feel free to comment. I appreciate it. 1 is
minimalist, Blues & funk-based "Escape Into Sound"

Hello!  new here.  Only one song released currently with another set for release on May 15th.  

Here is my Artist Profile on Pandora.  

I've just recently claimed and verified my profile, but had no idea that Pandora Curates differently for Radio.  I am happy to see that there is a path towards having music curated for radio and playlists.  

I haven't had a chance to explore AMP tools just yet.  Any advice or direction in where to start is much appreciated. 

I'm a big fan of John Price as a songwriter and story teller.  I hope to be able to channel his abilities some day.

I've been loving Adrianne Lenker's album lately (especially after taking her songwriting course through School of Song)— her perspective is so vulnerable and brilliant and life giving I love it.

Hey @Charismagnetic - I appreciate you stopping by and sharing your music with us.

Yes, Pandora does operate a little differently then the other DSPs. When we analyze a song for radio playback, we qualify the musicological components of the song. Based on this data, the matching algorithm will create a station populated with artists with similar data.

If you're unfamiliar with our analysis process, here's an article outlining how we do it.

I have some friends who have also participated in Adrianne Lenker's songwriting course! They spoke highly of it and got me intrigued. What were some take aways you got from it?

Hi Ya'll,  My name is Elza and I've been creating music for TV and Film for well over 20 years.I have a new single that I will be releasing in just a few weeks & a song that will be featured on "Ruby and the Well" Season 4, and I'm really about the possibilities of getting started with AMP and finally accessing my artist profile on Pandora. hi,  this is Marta Z, I'm a violinist (martazmusic) and a producer with a little indie label. I release my and other recording artists' works under several artist names, like Horizon Reverie or Marta Z

My favorite tool on AMP is the Featured Track, nowhere else have I seen such an incredibly effective tool for artists. I also love the sense of community through creator webinars. 

My influences are eclectic, from obscure modern classical composers like Vitezslava Kapralova to  Radiohead.
