My husband's account doesn't show that he's on our family plan

I upgraded my account to a family plan. I sent an invite to my husband's email address. He accepted the invite. When he logs into his Pandora APP using his email address it doesn't show that he's on the family plan, and he's unable to download offline music or use any of the premium features. When i resend the invite for the family plan to his email he clicks on it, and it says he's already part of the family plan, but it still doesn't show up in the APP.
