Android: Navigation issues with Kyocera flip-phone

Hello!

Got a flip phone but when I go to change the channel, it either skips, thumbs up or down but it wont let me get back to just navigating the app.

Any help would be appreciated!

Maybe a way to disable the dpad so I can choose which station is all I ask. Thoughts? Thanks!!
