We’ve refreshed the Pandora Community site to make it easier to connect, browse, and discover. ✨ Check out what's new here.
Android notifications use my original username even though I've changed it.
Thanks for following up, @fooblizoo.
Your webname has now been updated to fooblizoo.
This should resolve the issue with your old username appearing in push notifications from Pandora.
I hope this helps!
Hi there, @fooblizoo. 👋
Could you share a bit more about what's happening?
Are you referring to your Pandora Community notifications?
Or, email notifications?
If possible, please post a screenshot of the notification you received. If this includes any private information such as your email address, you can private message me directly with the screenshot.
When sharing a photo on community: You can include your screenshot directly in your post on community. This is best done through a web or mobile browser. You will not be able to share a photo through the email notification you may receive.
Hi Alyssa, thank you for helping me with this. I tried your link and got this error message:
You do not have sufficient privileges for this resource or its parent to perform this action.
@fooblizoo No worries about sending the screenshot.
I see the web name currently associated with your account is andy_asd.
To clarify, did you want to update this to something new? Let me know what you would like me to change it to if so, but be sure to give me a few options, as it must be unique (e.g., "mike" will not work, but "mike5452" might).
The notifications you receive moving forward should then reflect that change.
I look forward to hearing back from you.
Yes, I would like it to be updated to "fooblizoo" to match my username. I'm surprised this is not done automatically when changing username.
