Android: Pandora app icon is now tinted red

I cant figure out why my pandora apps background is this reddish color.  I've looked all over and also tried to change it under settings in both pandora and phone settings with no luck.  I cant seem to find anything online about it so I figured I post it here.

@Kbeanman65 Sorry for the trouble you are having with the Pandora app icon on your phone changing colors.

Can you please confirm with me what the make and model of your device is?

Additionally, is Pandora the only app on your phone that has changed colors?

@AdamPandora It's an A21 samsung and yes its the only app like that

@Kbeanman65 Thanks for sharing the screenshot. Based on the image, it looks like the Pandora app icon itself may have changed appearance, but it's difficult to tell whether this is affecting the functionality of the app or just the icon.

Can you let us know:

• Are you still able to open Pandora and use the app normally? 
• Did the icon color change recently, or has it looked this way for a while?
• If you tap the Pandora icon, does the app launch successfully?
• Have you recently updated Pandora or changed any themes, icon packs, or display settings on your phone?

The additional information will help us determine whether this is simply a cosmetic icon issue or something affecting the app itself.

@AdamPandora the app still works fine im not having any issues.  It's been like this for maybe 2+ weeks all i have done is the normal updates through play store when it says there is a update.  Nothing else seems to have a way to change the background like that on any apps iphone or Samsung which is why its so weird not to mention I can't find info on it anywhere like I've says before.  It's also shows when I copy the app as in like when I move a copy to my home screen that app icon is the rose red background as well as the orgional one in my apps screen.

I recommend clearing the Pandora app data from your device.

From your Android Settings, please try clearing the Pandora app data using the following steps (not to worry, we'll keep track of your profile and collection for you):*

1. Open your device Settings
2. Tap Apps
3. Scroll down to find Pandora
4. Select Storage
5. On the storage details page tap Clear Data.

Keep in mind that the steps for each Android device is slightly different. 

Please note that you will be asked to log into your account after completing these steps.

Let me know if this resolves the issue for you.

@AdamPandora I will give that a try i did clear the catche but not data since that deletes the account and everything off the phone as well I think right?  I posted this on the Samsung forum too and got a few reply of same thing happened to my phone and I dont know why.  Someone told me its the newest update from pandora but I updated it on both my and my father's phones and mines still white on my sansung and my iPhone.  Thanks for the help so far!!

@Kbeanman65 Clearing data will not delete your account, however you will be required to sign back in.
