When using Pandora, if my phone is on DND or if I am using Android Auto and playing Pandora, I get the notification on my phone that Pandora has been paused due to my phone being muted. This is a bizarre feature, and I need a way to disable it.

Hi @testthing Welcome to community! 👋
This appears to be an OS level setting on your Android. The DND setting may be interfering with playback or causing performance issues when playing Pandora.
I found some helpful resources from the Samsung Support page that may offer some steps to help adjust your settings to allow playback for media while on DND.
Please take a look and see if these will help you
I also found a community post from the Samsung Community from other users having a similar experience: Media settings for Do Not Disturb on Galaxy
Hope this helps.
Thanks for the reply! I added the app as a DND exception, but I need to try and remember if it's ever happened outside of that. I'll reply here again if the issue persists.
Out of curiosity, is there a way to disable that "phone is muted" feature with pausing for Pandora?
@TannerPandora, that didn't work. Any other ideas?
Hi @testthing
Sorry to hear that didn't work.
Unfortunately, I'm not super familiar with the do not disturb feature and settings on Android. In most cases, Pandora will not be able to override settings that are enabled on your Android that are meant to prevent media, notification or sound from playing.
However, since you mentioned that you made an exception and this is still happening, I'm happy to pass this along to our engineering team for further review.
Can you confirm the following info about your Android:
