why wont my pandora pause or skip? And i have to restart my phone to get pandora turned off after newest update

So since from about 1pm, no issues. Can skip redo, change stations, use bluetooth in car, receive calls properly, etc. Absolutely like it was before the Dec 6.1 update. Took them long enough and hope it stays this way cause I hate Spotify.

Too little, too late...I wasted a year paying for something that failed to work properly with no end in sight. Made the switch to Spotify and am slowly building my music back up. 

I think they only finally fixed it because they were losing people in droves.

Prince, I switched to Spotify as well. My biggest hold up was losing my current Playlists on pandora. BUT, if you use the website, TuneMyMusic.com, you can transfer all your Playlists (I only lost 3 songs) to your Spotify account. I paid $4.50 for the whole process. If you need further help just let me know.

This update came down a couple weeks ago and I'm pretty sure I updated to it a few days ago but continued to have the issue. At the very least I was still having the issue yesterday but will run it through its paces this afternoon when undoubtedly will be using it during my workout so we shall see. I'm not optimistic just because I vaguely remember updating to the current build a few days ago. I did see in the update description they mentioned fixing a bug associated with what appeared to be random midnight plays but I didn't even know that was a bug. 

"If you've had the pleasure of Pandora serenading you at the most inconvenient times, please accept our sincerest apologies! We've performed some expert bug-squishing acrobatics to ensure that Pandora won't turn into your midnight DJ anymore."

Anyway, here's hoping it actually was fixed 🤞

I just took the motorcycle out for just over an hour testing the Bluetooth connection and Android Pandora Controls. Using the bike controls I must have hit pause and skip about 300 times. Turned it all off, rebooted, and found that it was all still functioning properly. I am more than thrilled because like so many others I wasn't thrilled with Spotify after spending years building my Pandora playlists and favorites. FINALLY !  

I am once again a happy camper.

Thank you for the fix!  My Pandora seems to be fully functioning once again!  I have tested the app both on my motorcycle, truck, and in the house through the Bose system. 
Great timing too as I was about ready to walk away and find another music channel.  I hated the idea of losing all my saved music and playlists. I am very happy indeed that did not happen.

Mine has been working flawlessly for about 2 weeks now. Not sure what got updated, but it seems fixed. Spotify is ok, but I'm happy to have my Pandora stations back.
