The song above the one I select in a playlist plays when I choose a song in a playlist

I am constantly getting the wrong song playing when I am choosing a song in a playlist. Sometimes it is a random song, sometimes it is the one above the one I select. Sometimes the song title that I select shows in the playing box while another song actually plays. I have to shut down the app and open it again to select a song but it only works once. It is extremely annoying. Even clearing the cache doesn't help.

I tested this on my end from a computer and was unable to reproduce the issue you are reporting, so it sounds like this experience is specific to your Android device.

When this issue occurs: 

• Are you connected to Wi-Fi or cellular data?
  •  If using Wi-Fi, are you able to recover the listening session by toggling Wi-Fi off?
• Are you using a Bluetooth connection?
• Does this only happen with a specific playlist in your collection, or any playlist you are listening to?
• Does this also happen when selecting songs from an album?
