Android: Songs Skip Through Rapidly with Earbuds

Whenever I am using my earbuds it rapidly skips through songs and will not play anything. I have uninstalled and re-installed the app, restarted my phone, signed out and signed back in and no change. This happened at home, ehile I'm out and about and at work so I don't thinks its a connection problem.

Thanks for reporting this issue, and sorry to hear about the rapid skipping.

I do see that you reinstalled Pandora recently. I would also recommend clearing your app data to see if this helps resolve the skipping. You can find those steps here: Android Troubleshooting

If the issue persists after running through those steps, I'd like to report your experience to our engineering team. Can you send over a bit more info about your device?

  • Model of Phone + Earbuds:
  • Carrier:
  • Android version (Settings > About Phone):
  • Pandora version:
    • Go to Profile, then select Settings. Scroll to the bottom of the screen for the version number.
  • Are you connected to Wi-Fi or cellular data when this is happening?
  • Have any error messages popped up? If so what exactly do they say?
  • Does this happen when you're not using your earbuds?
