Controlling connecting watch app to phone app

Quaz7829

The Pandora app on my watch 6 will not connect and control my Pandora app on my phone. All I want is to thumbs up or down tracks on my watch. I have reinstalled the app on both my phone and watch. I have talked to Pandora tech support and still know help. I use my Pandora mostly at work, and can't use my phone to thumbs up tracks.

@Quaz7829 Thanks for reaching out and flagging this — we’d like to understand a bit more about what you’re seeing so we can help and share this with our team.

When you try to connect or control Pandora from your watch, what exactly happens? For example, does the app fail to load, show an error message, or just sit there and eventually time out? Any specific message or behavior you notice would be really helpful.

I know you’ve already tried some troubleshooting the last time you reached out, so I wanted to double-check one specific step: were you able to fully remove the Bluetooth connection between your watch and your phone and then reconnect them afterward?

Since the watch app connects to the Pandora app on your phone via Bluetooth, this does suggest there may be an issue with how the two devices are communicating. We have tracing enabled on our side, and as a quick thing to try, we recommend disconnecting the Bluetooth connection between your phone and watch, then reconnecting them and trying again.

In the meantime, we’re happy to pass this along to our engineering team so they can take a closer look. Thanks for your patience, and we appreciate you bringing this to our attention!
