Getting mad at this

Never had a problem with this before  any time my screen times out I lose my music

Could you tell me a bit more about what is happening?

1. To clarify, when you say the screen times out, do you mean when the screen locks and turns black?
2. When you say you lose my music, does the app completely exit, and you have to re-launch it? Or does the music just pause when the screen times out?
3. Is there an error message? If so, what does it say?
4. Can you provide me with a screenshot/screen-recording of what you're seeing?
