Hey there, @Rickfritz975. 👋

Sorry to hear that you're having trouble staying logged in on your Android device.

Mind trying out the steps below?

From your Android Settings, please try clearing the Pandora app data using the following steps (not to worry, we'll keep track of your profile and collection for you):*
  1. Open your device Settings
  2. Tap Apps
  3. Scroll down to find Pandora
  4. Select Storage
  5. On the storage details page tap Clear Data.

Keep in mind that the steps for each Android device is slightly different. If you have a Pixel, you can find helpful steps here.

Please note that you will be asked to log into your account after completing these steps.

*Pandora Premium and Premium Family listeners may need to re-download some of their offline content after this. Pandora Plus users, however, should receive that offline content again automatically.

Just upgraded to Premium, and this is happening to me on EVERY platform now.  Google Home, Android phone, PC and even the website.  can't even listen to anything.  back to spotify I go.  Literally the moment I upgraded from free to premium, now i get a message that my trial has expired and then i'm logged out immediately.

Hi there, @TheDivaDanielle. 👋

Sorry for any trouble you've run into. I can explain what's happening.

I just checked your account, and it looks like you're upgraded to Pandora Plus. You did enabled a couple of sessions of Premium which may explain why you're experiencing a downgrade during your listening sessions. You can still enable these sessions even if you're upgraded to Plus, you'll need to watch an ad in order to initiate it.

Complimentary Premium Sessions:

  • In the past, free listeners and Pandora Plus subscribers were only able to look for artists and tracks in order to create radio stations. We've updated your experience so that you have the ability to listen to content on-demand, without being a Pandora Premium subscriber.
  • If you search for and select the name of an artist, or track, or album, you should be brought to a "backstage page" where you can either create a radio station or press play.
  • If you press play you indicate that you'd like to listen to that content right away (or "on-demand"). Since only Pandora Premium subscribers can listen on-demand, you will either

Trial Expired Messaging:

The message is regarding your Premium session expiring (not your actual Plus trial).

  • Due to licensing restrictions, we have to limit the number of Premium Access sessions per person.
  • If you're hitting a limit, it means you've used quite a few of these sessions lately.
  • When your Premium Access session expires you'll be returned to your normal Pandora Plus app experience, but we'll automatically save your on-demand music collection for your next Premium experience.

You can find out more about how complimentary Premium sessions work here.

If you prefer to upgrade to a Premium trial, please let me know so that I can connect you with a User Support specialist via email to assist with your account directly.

I hope this info helps clarify what's happening. Thanks so much for posting on the community! 🎶
