Pandora not connecting to LG android phone

MsLynn

I have had Pandora on my LG android phone until about a week ago. Now will not connect. Have tried all the troubleshooting and still no connection. I have Prime music also and that app still works.

Hi there, @MsLynn. 👋

Sorry to hear that you're having trouble listening.

Are you receiving any error messages? If so, what exactly does it say?

Please provide the following info to report to our engineering team:

  • Model:
  • Carrier:
  • Android version (Settings > About Phone):
  • Build number (Settings > About Phone):
  • Android Security Patch Level, if noted on your device (Settings > About Phone):
  • Pandora version:
    • If you can open Pandora, go to Profile, then select Settings. Scroll to the bottom of the screen for the version number.
    • If you can't open Pandora: from Android Home screen > Android Settings > Applications > Manage Applications > Find Pandora

Are you connected to Wi-Fi or cellular data when this is happening?

Have you identified any other patterns or notable information?

Thanks so much for your help with this! 🎧

I recently sent all the requested info and have not had a response or more info on how to get Pandora to connect. I have deleted data several times. Restarted the phone several times. At one point I had it for a few minutes and then it cut out again. Tried all the troubleshooting all over again after that. I even uninstalled the app and reinstalled after several minutes and still saying "waiting for connection".. Doesn't make sense since I get it on my Roku on my tv same WiFi and can still stream Prime music app. What has happened to Pandora? After checking the community not the only one with this problem. Sure glad I didn't sign up to pay for Pandora. This is very frustrating!!!!

Hey, @MsLynn

I'm very sorry for the continued trouble. I definitely understand how frustrating this can be.

Unfortunately, I'm not seeing that you passed along the requested information in this thread. Please see my message for the info needed to report this accurately to our engineering team.

Also, could you clarify whether you're receiving an error message stating "Waiting for connection..."?

Let me know, and I can pass this info along on your behalf.

Thanks so much for sticking with me on this!
