I have a pandora plus subscription and recently purchased a Samsung tablet as a second device. I installed Pandora and entered account credentials which seemed to have worked and app is functioning. I wanted to enable offline mode and went to profile but there is no settings gear ? In fact there is nothing showing under profile which does not make sence as I have logged into my account. Please let me know how to enable offline mode on my smsunf tablet.
Thanks
Thanks for getting back to me, @mick05334.
It sounds like your Samsung Tablet is using an older Android OS version that is no longer supported. This may explain why your experiencing this issue on that particular device.
On Android devices, the current version of Pandora requires Marshmallow 6.0 or higher.
If you are running an Android OS version older than Marshmallow 6.0, you will need to update your device's operating system.
For some Android devices, you can update by going to Settings > General > About device > Software updates > Check for update.
Let me know if you're able to do this.
Hey, @mick05334. ๐
Sorry to hear that you're having trouble.
Please keep in mind, Pandora accounts follow the email address, not the device or phone number. You can sign into the same Pandora account on any computer or supported device, as long as you use the same email address and Pandora password. This applies to both free and paid Pandora accounts.
It sounds like you're logged into the correct Pandora account on both of your devices.
I would recommend running through these steps to see if it helps with the issue you're experiencing.
Let me know how it goes. ๐ง
I went through all the steps in the Troubleshooting for Android, clearing data, reneteing account email and password but the profile is still blank and no setting gear. So as a check I went to a third device which was an iphone and installed Pandora and enteed my email and password. On this device my profile now appears and it has a setting gear. So my issue is clearly with the Samsung tablet which is SM-T360 running android 4.4.4. Please let me know what I can do. Thx
