(RESOLVED) Android: Pandora Starts Playing After Being Closed

I finally gave up tonight and deleted App. Going to be a pain to switch but I’m tired of it turning on by itself, waking me up, and/or draining my battery. Done with it.  Junk app.

The instructions for killing autoplay for all playlists are not even possible on my S23 Ultra! The damned app starts up by itself in the middle of the night! There is NOTHING to toggle off in Advanced except "Higher quality auto",  "Enable Autolock", "Launch from car", and "Show Waze navigation"! Why do you give instructions that don't even apply? I cannot find autoplay ANYWHERE on the mobile app! This is driving me INSANE!!! I click on HELP in the mobile app and get a message that this is a known issue - fine! But when are you going to FIX IT?????

There's no update in the Google app store yet. I just checked again.
There's also no option to revert to the version before this all started.

Auto Start is not now and has never been enabled on my phone. Yet, if I don't put my phone into airplane mode or turn it off at night, pandora opens and starts playing music at a random hour. Not during the day though - no - only in the middle of the night!  Even does it with Do Not Disturb turned on!  Why??

I went to the Google Play Store and look for updates. That's where I found
it.

It's slowly rolling out into the Play store. I checked 5-6 times and "no updates available" for me and then it just popped up as available a few mins ago. Installed the update, will see if that solves the issue.

But for me it may be to little too late. I've been using YTMusic and ti seems to be a better setup.  In stead of certain "channels" you can request a song or album.  That is not available with Pandora.  That is a better selection process and I have noticed a better sound quality than Pandora. 

The message: if you do not take care of the customer someone else will.

Where is that..? I could not find those options to save my life.. I woke up panicked to a song thinking the 3 month old in the room was freaking out because my phone was on low but Alanis was singing. So I barely heard a breathy and hoarse voice going off.. this app is possibly the worst thing I've ever installed..

Mine horrified me since it started playing Halloween music at 3:00am.
Accckkkk! My understanding is that everyone has not received the update for
Pandora in the Google Playstore. Keep checking & it should show up soon.

Finally got the update late last night. So far, so good! Didn't start running all night. I think the real test will be what happens when I use it in the car and then close it afterward. If it still doesn't wake itself up, we should be good to go.

The update should be in your Playstore, update the app.
