I have been looking forward to Pandora in my Vehicle, but through the short-sightednes of my Manufacturer it is not available in the Play store for my model even though there is no difference in the in-vehicle Infotainment computer.
Can you make the AAOS APK install file available by some method so I can install it myself?
Hi @AAOSorBUST
Welcome to community!
What is the make and model of your vehicle?
In the meantime, I'm happy to pass along your feedback to our products team for further review. Although I can’t guarantee anything, we do appreciate you taking the time to let us know you’re experience.
Happy holidays!
My vehicle is a 2024 Chevrolet Silverado EV 4WT. The work trucks are on an older version of their operating system (SQRB5) whereas the newer version (SQRB6) for the upper level models like the 2024 RST get a version of the Play Store with a lot of additional applications not available on other models. Likewise I have seen some posts from other Chevrolet Vehicles with the same issue that Pandora is not showing in the app store for their vehicle.
Amazon sells a dongle for a usb port, if you have a usb port in your car. Anyways, the dongle gives your car a way to have CarPlay and android play, I think the Samsung phone play is android play. Anyways, I use it in my Yukon works decently, but your car needs a screen to display. If you have no screen in your car then no bother buying the dongle.
Actually my truck has both Android Auto and Apple Carplay but I do not like or use either of them unless I am in a rental. My preference is to use native apps in my vehicles.
