Hi all! Thanks for posting your experience.

Since I don't believe current troubleshooting steps would help to resolve this issue, I've gone ahead and created a ticket to pass along to our engineering team for further investigation. For those that have already posted, I have already included your info.

If you're currently experiencing this issue, please include the following info about your device so that I can pass this along:

  • Make and model of your mobile device:
  • OS version:
  • Pandora version:
  • How are you connected to you vehicle (Bluetooth or USB)?:
  • Is Enable Launch from Car disabled?:

Thank you all for the help!

Hey @By19! Thanks for posting to community.

Do you mean Android Auto or Google Maps? If you mean Android Auto, are you running into a problem with Pandora that I can troubleshoot with you?

In the meantime, you can disable Launch from car under settings.

  • Open Pandora.
  • Tap the Profile tab
  • Tap the Settings gear in the upper right corner.
  • Select Advanced.
  • Under Bluetooth for devices make sure Launch from car is unchecked.

Let me know!

Hi @clb53! Welcome to community!

To clarify your message, do you mean the feature Enable Launch from Car is unchecked within the Pandora settings?

Can you tell me a little more info about your phone and set-up?

  1. What is the model of your phone.
  2. Which Pandora version are you on? Let me know if you need help finding this.
  3. How is your phone connected to your car? Bluetooth or USB?
  4. Do you connect to Android Auto?

Thanks for the help!

Use your mobile device only when conditions allow and as permitted by applicable law.

I've unchecked that option for a while, and it still auto-launches. Yes, I tried checking, uncheking, and restarting, all the usual suspects. The only missing option is to get rid of Pandora. Using a Galaxy S23+
