Automotive: Google maps navigation

While using Google maps to navigate, Pandora used to open a quick access menu. That disappeared after a recent Google maps update. Could you please fix this problem and bring that quick access menu back?

Do you mean the connected media app feature? Which Google maps version are you currently on?

Wait! Your question prompted me to visit my Google Maps settings. I
discovered that the "show media playback controls" setting got toggled off.
Turning it back on should solve the problem.
