Auxiliary issue

I am trying to play Pandora from a Samsung Galaxy through an auxiliary cord in my car.  The app continues to pause and won't play as long the cord is plugged in.

Can you let me know which generation Samsung Galaxy you have? Can you also confirm if you have the same trouble connected through Bluetooth?

Does the aux cord fit snug or loose when connected to your phone?
