CarPlay: Now Playing screen no longer appears

Is anyone experiencing problems with pandora not brining up the now playing screen when you click on the station in the recent window even clicking the triangle icon on the top screen does nothing. when I click the station it just turns the station blue. 

also did anyone ever figure out why it doesn’t load up the now playing screen like it use to after the iOS 18 update? I swear my CarPlay screen loads up on different screens all the time never on the now playing screen.

running iPhone 15 plus iOS 18.5 

and up to date on gmc firmware

Sorry to hear you're having some trouble with Pandora through CarPlay. 

I've enabled a trace on your account, while this trace is enabled can you please do me a favor and uninstall and reinstall the Pandora app on your iPhone. Then continue to play Pandora with your CarPlay as you normal would. 

In the meantime, I'd like to report your experience to our engineering teams. Can you please let me know your Pandora version. If you need help finding that, let me know.

I've been having this same issue for the past few months.  The only way I can fix it is to go to Pandora on my phone and force close the app; then restart it.  Sometimes that works and sometimes it just does the same thing as before.
