I am having this issue across 3 iPhones and 3 different CarPlay devices (all wired, no wireless CarPlay).
Just updated to iOS 18.1 hoping the issue would be resolved, but it’s still happening
Every time I click on shuffle stations or any station for that matter;sometimes it plays the music but gives me the problem loading this content and won’t switch to the now playing screen. Sometimes it just won’t play the music and says the problem loading message. Either way it not letting me see the now playing screen with the album art and controls
Asmitty28, I am not sure if the screens for CarPlay are the same in all cars but on my screen, there is a triangle symbol on the right side of the screen that will take you to the details of the song that is playing including the album art. Perhaps you may have something similar. I’m having similar problems to what has been described in this problem thread but I did find a way to get to the song detail. Hope this helps…
I am having the same issue. It has been sence the new update and says can’t load content, I have updated pandora and car play still not loading right. Is there a fix to this ?
I am having this problem...both with iOS 18 as well as the latest iOS 18.1. I have an iPhone 13 Pro through Verizon. And, the vehicle is a 2021 BMW X5 running the latest iDrive software available through BMW.
Same problem is a 2023 Subaru crosstrek. Not having the issue in a 2023 Subaru ascent. But they have different infotainment systems.
Pandora has been my favorite music app! This current situation is frustrating and I’m thinking of canceling. Get y’all’s stuff together!!!
Hi, I found that I can click ok and then click on that arrow on top right and it will display the song playing. Hope this helps you!
Having the same issues as discussed with my 2021 Telluride. Hoping for a fix soon!
This is super frustrating. I've been dealing with this since early October. I got an iPhone 16 pro max, and immediately it started acting up. I updated my phone to the newest version (18.1), and it's doing the same thing. Only thing I can do is pick the station I want on my iphone and then click the triangle on the right top corner to see the album art/song details. Please fix this!!!
