Laggy and unresponsive when using Android Auto

I recently purchased a new vehicle with Android Auto and I have been having multiple issues with the Pandora app, but only in Android Auto and not when connected over bluetooth.

App takes anywhere from 5-30 seconds to respond when skipping to the next song. This happens whether I use steering wheel controls, the infotainment screen, or my phone itself.

Often the app will start in offline mode even though I have strong cell service. It then struggles to get out of offline mode for the first 5-10 minutes.

The album art on the screen regularly takes 20 seconds or more to update after the song changes.

Pandora, Android Auto, and my vehicle's software are all up-to-date. I have tried everything I can think of over the last 2 months and nothing seems to work.

My vehicle is a 2026 Toyota Land Cruiser and my phone is a Google Pixel 8 Pro.

We believe this was the result of a recent app update, while we investigate further, we've made a change to allow users to install the previous app version, 2509.1.

If you're still having trouble, please try uninstalling and reinstalling the app to return to the previous app version. 

Please note: Pandora Premium and Premium Family listeners may need to re-download some offline content after reinstalling the app. Pandora Plus listeners should receive offline content automatically.

I've only driven once, for about 10 minutes, since rolling my Pandora app back to 2509.1, but it seems like all of the issues are gone. Whatever was causing it must have been in the 2510.1 update.
