I continue to have the same problem with the same car although I have a Motorola Android phone. Nothing I do seems to restore the capability of the car seeing Pandora which is open on my phone at all times. Can anyone assist me with this issue?

Hi @Treppeda
Welcome to community!
I started a new thread since the other one was a bit older. Can you tell me a little more about your experience:
Android Info:
- Android OS:
- Pandora version:
Connection:
Seems like you're connected via Bluetooth. Are you able to connect via USB in your vehicle to see if you have the same experience? This helps narrow down if it's related to Bluetooth.
Infotainment:
Are you connecting to
- Android Auto
- PandoraLink - Intergrated Pandora app in your vehicle
- Bluetooth only - Meta data appears on the infotainment screen
Thanks for the extra details!

I'm a long time subscriber to Pandora Plus and in December 2014 I purchased a 2015 Mazda 3. I loved the fact that it had Pandora as a default option within the infotainment system and for a number of years it worked great and I used it whenever I was in the car. A few years ago it suddenly stopped connecting for no apparent reason at all. I get a message saying I need to make sure Pandora is installed on my device and I've continued to get the same message over three different Motorola phones. I currently have a Moto G Stylus 2024 and have tried every combination of configurations on the phone and with the Mazda system with no luck. I'm only able to listen to Pandora when using Bluetooth but have no control of the app through the Infotainment interface. I'm sorry, I have no idea what version of Pandora I have but I've had this problem with Android 11 through 14.

Hi @Treppeda
Thanks for the follow. It's wonderful to hear you've been a long time subscriber and supporter of Pandora!
Sorry to hear this has been happening for so long. Sounds like you've tried a lot of troubleshooting over this time. Since I don't have any other steps that I believe would offer a quick resolution, I've gone ahead and passed along your experience to the appropriate engineering teams for further investigation.
Not sure if Android Auto is an option for your Mazda, but if it's available, it may offer a better overall experience in the meantime.

Android Auto is available for my particular year but I will check. I'm
afraid it may be a little bit beyond my budget at this point in time. It's
just frustrating to me how well it worked for so many years and then
suddenly stopped working. My wife also has the identical car with the same
issue.

Understandable!
My car is too old for CarPlay or Android Auto and I'm not really into some of these aftermarkets that are being sold. I feel for you, it's nice having all the info right there on the screen.
