About 50% of the time I get into my 2019 Kia Forte my pandora opens and seems to be playing but there’s no audio. The only fix I’ve found that works is to double tap my home button on my iPhone 7plus and force quit the pandora app. My car will then reload pandora and I can press play and the music will resume.
for the record this same issue used to happen in my 2012 Nissan Altima with a pioneer aftermarket stereo.
Hi @Skinde thanks for posting to community!
Could you provide the following information so I can investigate?
Let me know.
Use your mobile device only when conditions allow and as permitted by applicable law.
My stereo is the factory model that came with the car. The version of my program is 2002.2. I connect my iPhone with a usb cable. I don’t listen to pandora anywhere but in my car so I can’t answer the last question. Thank you.
Thanks for the info @Skinde - I've asked our User Support team to start a trace on your account in hopes that we can better understand whats happening.
While the trace is on, I'd like to start with some standard troubleshooting.
First, I recommend rebooting the device by shutting it down entirely, then turning it back on and trying Pandora again.
If you're still having issues, try uninstalling and reinstalling the app (not to worry, we'll keep track of your profile and collection for you).* To do that:
*Please note: Pandora Premium and Premium Family listeners may need to re-download some of their offline content after reinstalling the app. Pandora Plus users, however, should receive that offline content again automatically. If you have any trouble with your offline stations after reinstalling, please let us know.
Let me know how it goes.
