Toyota: Music plays at low volume

I have a 2018 Toyota Rav4XLT.  The volume was working fine but randomly now it plays at only half the volume.  I have verified it is not my vehicle as the CD and Radio volume works fine.  I have seen I am not the only subscriber that is having this isuue.  Some help would be appreciated considering I am paying for full volume, not half.

Welcome to the community, and thanks for taking the time to share what’s going on.

I saw your post on an older thread and went ahead and created a new one for you. While the experience sounds similar, that thread is from 2022, and issues that appear the same can sometimes have different causes.

I’m sorry to hear about the volume issue. To help narrow things down, could you let me know how your phone is connected to your RAV4? For example:

• Bluetooth
• USB connection
• Apple CarPlay

In the meantime, I’ve enabled a trace on your account to help us take a closer look. For this to capture fresh data, please uninstall and reinstall the Pandora app on your phone, then use it as you normally would in your car.
