I don't know much about trains and I have never traveled on train, but there are some trains I have heard of that I would really like to travel on:
- El Chepe, it is a train that rides all along Mexico, and I have heard it has really beautiful landscapes, specially in winter.
- The thematic trains on Japan, specially the Dinosaur train, the Sanrio train, and the cat train. They are so cute and cool!
- The Jose Cuervo Express, it is from the tequila brand. I'm not a big drinker but I have also heard it is a whole experience as you get to know the Agave fields and the extraction and process to make Tequila, some Tequila tasting and food pairing, along with music and some sightseeing.
- The Andean Express (I think it is called like that) where they take you to know some Incan ruins and small villages, and obviously let you enjoy the landscapes.
- The Glacier Express in Switzerland, which goes across the Alpes Mountains.
I also think there's a similar experience to the Andean Express on India but I haven't looked into it. I think that would also be an interesting option.
