Favorite genre: idk honestly, whatever imagine dragons, fitz and the tantrums, the score, Lupe fiasco, ajr, etc are. That type of music. Also rap

I joined the Community to talk music and I'm happy to introduce myself as an artist on this excellent music platform. As a longtime songwriter and performer, I'm finally starting a new career as an aspiring recording artist at a ripe old retirement age. I'm glad music is an universal language that holds no prejudices and will speak to anyone at anytime, anywhere.

Hi Pandora Community! I'm Krystina, but I tend to go by Kissy.

I was born in the Biggest Little City (iykyk), and currently live in my small hometown in Nevada. No, I'm not from Las Vegas, and contrary to what many people believe, not everyone in Nevada goes to Vegas all the time. (As a matter of fact, I have only been there twice in my 33 years of life!)
I fell in love with music at a young age, listening to bands like AC/DC, Iron Maiden and Metallica with my dad, and artists like Reba McEntire, Garth Brooks and Tim McGraw with my mom.
I have a very diverse taste in music, and lately I find myself listening to newer songs by: Måneskin, EMELINE, Walker Hayes, In This Moment, Miranda Lambert, Panic! at the Disco, Imagine Dragons, Morgan Wallen, I Prevail, and Sam Smith. If I had to pick my favorite genres, I would go with 90's Grunge (Stone Temple Pilots, Nirvana, Hole, etc.), 2000's Alternative (Fall Out Boy, My Chemical Romance, Paramore, etc.), and Nu Metal (Rage Against the Machine, Limp Bizkit, Korn, etc.) - but I listen to so much more than that. 
My favorite feature about Pandora is my ability to create my own playlists, so that then I can turn the shuffle on and skip until I find songs I want - just like when I had my once beloved iPod!
