So Many years of favorite music its hard to pick one genre. Latlely ive been listening to a lot of ladies hip hop, but right now im listening to pearl jam. LOL

I love Pandora. Ive been a subscriber for 20 years i think. I like making my own stations.

Thanks for saying hi. There is so much to choose from. Speaking of ladies, I like Palom Faith , Lucinda Wiliams ,Brandi Carlile. If not for Pandor I don't think I would have ever been introduced to these singers. There so many more wonderful artists out there still to find..

Hi!

I'm brand new to the music community, strange story but after getting very sick and in a coma in 2022 I had to heal for quite a long time and then when I did start to heal my brain dropped a bomb on me and I suddenly  acquired synesthesia in October last year (only 5 months ago).

And now I see colors when I listen to music! I also just sort of started playing the piano and ever since I've been unstoppable. I don't have any formal training but it feels like I can't stop making music... I don't even know what it's like to "Be a musician"! 🙂

• What your favorite genre of music is? I love pop music, always have but I get the sweet thrill of dance and hang out to downtempo beats and I love new folk and electronic.

• A favorite feature of the Pandora service? By far and away it's the algorithm! When I am streaming some of my favorites I can count on hearing something that is directly connected to my tastes or current listening. I get the chance to find so much and it never gets old!

I think I have never listened to Adam Ant. In general I don't really know about new wave artists, is there a song that you would recommend?

At the moment it's not possible to import to Pandora your music collection from an external music source, but you may want to check and upvote this idea: Ideas: Import/export music from or to other platforms.

I also want to note that our AMP support is directed to artists and managers that want to upload their content to Pandora.

Welcome to the community Myrah! Yeah music is the best therapy. I've got times when I listen to a song that I like sooo much that I set it to replay multiple times. I think it is great that you can set to replay one specific song or a whole album or playlist.

That's amazing Jessanne! I'm glad to hear you are better now, I follow some artists on social media that also experience synesthesia and the art pieces they make are sooo beautiful. I think it is something really fascinating and wonderful.

Also, about being a musician, you can always learn to play any instrument, doesn't matter if you start at 6 or 60. The most important for music is practice, patience and passion in my opinion.

Greetings, all!  I'm Eric Dinwiddie, AKA Eric Din, from Berkeley, Skalifornia 😎 I have extremely eclectic listening tastes -- my genre-map is all over the map, you might say! At this precise moment I'm listening to Messy by Lola Young, an amazing track which I just recently added to my Din's Pandora Picks playlist. One thing I love about Pandora is that I can hop from a curated playlist into an Artist or Song station at any turn, allowing for infinite music-discovery rabbit holes.  And like many a music-lover I love to share when something exciting pops up on my radar, so I expect I'll be dropping some Pandora links here along the way, and enjoying some of yours as well.
