Desktop App: Creating new station removes an old station from collection and shuffle

Pandora Desktop App.

When I add a new station to my collection, I go to the "Now Playing" screen, I hover over "Shuffle Stations On" which brings up the little pen in a circle. I click on that circle, which brings me to "My Collection" When I click on the new station to add to my shuffle, Pandora will automatically remove another station from shuffle.

For example, I added the Tame Impala station to my collection. When I clicked on that station to add to my shuffle, it automatically removed The Offspring from my shuffle. See the image below.

From past experience the station that was removed from shuffle will eventually be completely removed from My Collection. Making me have to re-add that station to my collection, then click Shuffle in the hopes that Pandora won't remove yet another station from the shuffle. This has been an issue for years.

Is there a fix for this?

@BruceD Sorry for the trouble you are having with stations getting removed from your collection and shuffle mix.

I took a look at your account, and it appears you are at the limit of 250 stations.

Pandora accounts have a rolling limit of 250 stations, whether you’re using a free or paid subscription.

Please note that some older devices and car stereos may support fewer stations due to device limitations.

If you reach the 250-station limit and create a new station, Pandora will automatically remove the station you haven’t listened to for the longest time. Don’t worry — you can recreate that station at any time, and your thumbs and preferences will still be saved.

Since each Pandora station can play a wide variety of artists and songs, you may also want to remove duplicate or similar stations, or use the Add Variety feature to combine similar music into one station.

I hope this is helpful.

I'm not sure if that's what's happening.

I just removed a few stations from my collection, and I still can't click on The Offspring station to re-add it to my shuffle. There's something else going on here I believe.
