Desktop App: No longer allows me to Tune my Station

When ever I try to change "My Station" to something like "Deep Cuts", it just keeps saying "This song can't be skipped". Even if I skip the song it still gives me this message. I just want to listen to my music and this is very frustrating. 

I listen to "The Presidents of the United States of America" station exclusively and hadn't encountered an issue like this before. I have Pandora Premium as well so I don't understand what could be causing this.

I probably should have mentioned this yesterday, but I fixed the issue by reinstalling the whole program. I downloaded the version from the Microsoft Store. I would download it from you directly but you don't have an option.

I'm unsure what caused the issue as there was no update available either. But yeah regardless of what song was playing it wouldn't let me tune the station even if I was capable of skipping the song, it would give the "This song can't be skipped" only while trying to tune but I could skip it otherwise.

I do listen to the mobile version to with no issues, It's just the Microsoft store version I've had issues with.

Thanks for taking the time to share what’s going on, I’m really sorry for the frustration here. I can see how disruptive it is when you’re trying to switch Modes for a better listening session and it doesn’t work as expected.

I gave your The Presidents of the United States of America station a quick test on a Chrome web browser, and it transitioned into “Deep Cuts” mode as expected without showing the "This song can't be skipped" message.

I’ve gone ahead and enabled a trace on your account so we can take a closer look. When you have a moment, could you share a bit more about how you’re listening?

  • I see you have Windows listed in your labels, has this only happened on your computer, or on other devices as well (like mobile)?
  • Which web browser are you using?
  • If you’re using Chrome or Edge, could you try Firefox to see if you have the same experience?
  • Did you notice this happening with select songs, or all songs playing on the station?

The next time you try to change Modes and receive the same message, please let me know the song title and artist that was playing at the time.
