Desktop: Artist Mode Randomly Disappears

I am a premium subscriber.  The Artist Mode is randomly disappearing on some of my custom stations. Listened to it last night and today no longer shows up.  It shows up in some other stations, but is missing from some others.  

I have not thumbs downed any songs, so that's not the issue.

Hey there, @Mquin.

Thanks so much for posting about this. 

Certain Modes will disappear for 24 hours if an excessive amount of thumbs down ratings are given. 

I recommend you edit your station to remove some of those2 thumbs down ratings, and wait 24 hours.

Since you recently created a new station, I would wait the 24 hours to see if those modes return for you.

  • Which station(s) do you notice this happening with?
  • Also, are you using the Pandora Desktop App for Windows or MAC?
  • Or, are you using a web browser? If so, which one?

I am having the same issue. I am a premium subscriber, and suddenly the Frank Sinatra Artist Only mode has disappeared. Please advise.

Sorry to hear that you're having trouble with this. 

I've enabled a trace on your Pandora account in case we need to share this with our engineering team. 

Looks like you're using your Chrome web browser when this happens. I would recommend running through these steps to see if it helps resolve the issue: Chrome Troubleshooting

I'm also having this issue on my android app as well as the app on the Amazon fire cube. I used to have an artist only option on my Depeche Mode station but now it's gone. 

And just now, "newly released" mode has disappeared from this station. I've tried deleting the station and adding back, which did nothing. Wth is going on?

I don't know what's considered "excessive" but I've thumbed down a total of
7 songs since creating the station a couple weeks ago. I wouldn't call that
excessive. I think this is a Pandora glitch.
And just fyi, my artist only and newly released modes have returned to my
Depeche Mode station and I didn't have to wait 24 hours. So again... I'm
thinking Pandora is glitching.
